Water Safety
The Estates Division Water Safety Team are responsible for ensuring that water systems in University Buildings are safe for all users in accordance with current legislation & guidance, and that where required there are adequate supplies of wholesome drinking water.
The two areas of risk being managed are:
- Control of Legionella and other waterborne pathogens
- Scalding from high water temperatures
