Asset Management

The Asset Management team are the trusted custodians of the University’s estate. The team is responsible for maintaining inspiring environments that enable the highest levels of international excellence.  
Asset Management is made up of: a dedicated in-house first-response team carries out routine maintenance and simple fixes directly and has a range of trade roles from plumbers to electricians; a contract management team that works with a range of experienced suppliers to deliver specialist repairs, larger works and the majority of planned maintenance and a team of Building Surveyors who lead a programme of minor and lifecycle works, as well as building improvements.  

Maintenance Helpdesk

The University operates a repairs and maintenance service underpinned by the latest technology and staffed by trained experts.

During office hours (08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday; 08:30 - 16:30 Friday) the helpdesk will be staffed by the Estates Division team based at Laundry Farm. Outside of working hours the helpdesk will switch to the University Security Control Centre.

Maintenance requests can be logged in a number of different ways:

Via the Invida Resolve mobile application. 

Raising service tickets with Invida Resolve.

Urgent issues should always be notified by phone to enable our team to engage with the caller and ensure the appropriate action is taken.
