Experimental Medicine Research Facility (Photography by Nick Guttridge)
Project Brief: |
Situated beside the entrance to the Addenbrooke’s Treatment Centre (ATC), and adjoining the Sir Patrick Sissons Building (formerly named Addenbrooke's Centre for Clinical Investigation), this new building provides the Cambridge Biomedical Campus with additional capacity and enhanced capability to translate fundamental biomedical research into clinical research that benefits patients. The project is part of the redevelopment of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus (2020 Vision and Masterplan) and will be a significant presence on the new High Street development (currently Keith Day Road). This facility, together with the Sir Patrick Sissons Building are collectively known as the Cambridge Clinical Research Centre (CCRC). |
