West Hub

The University of Cambridge’s West Hub has been shortlisted for the prestigious Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) East Awards. Celebrating excellence in architecture across the UK, these awards are a testament to innovation and creativity in design.

Designed by Jestico + Whiles, the dynamic building serves as a focal point for the Cambridge West Innovation District, offering a plethora of communal spaces and resources for students, faculty, entrepreneurs, the public, and staff alike.

At its core, the West Hub embodies the University of Cambridge's commitment to excellence in education, research, innovation and community engagement. By creating an inspiring environment for work, study, dining, and socialising, it sets the stage for transformative experiences and meaningful interactions.

Projects at Homerton College, Darwin College, King’s College, St. Catharine’s College  and Lucy Cavendish College also feature among the 17 buildings on the regional shortlist.

The winning building will be announced later in the spring. Find out more on the RIBA website.
